ACE Radio Goes Live for Good Friday Appeal

ACE Radio Network (ACE) and the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal are proud to announce a three-year agreement that will see ACE become a Media Partner of the annual Good Friday Appeal.

To celebrate the first year of the partnership, ACE will broadcast live from Appeal headquarters, the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 25 March 2016, between the hours of 9am to 6pm - with all 13 stations in the ACE Radio Network relaying the broadcast to their potential audience of over 500,00 listeners in Victoria and parts of Southern NSW.

The Appeal has become something of a Victorian institution, beginning in 1931 by a group of journalists, and raising over $17 million in 2015.

Anne Randall, Good Friday Appeal Director said, “Country Victoria has always been a major supporter of the Appeal and with ACE Radio’s support we’re now able to reach country Victoria in new and exciting ways.” “We are absolutely thrilled that ACE Radio is now a part of the Good Friday Appeal team.”

CEO of ACE Radio Network, Mark Taylor said, “Everyone at ACE is really pumped to be part of the Good Friday Appeal, and we are planning some really special radio for our listeners across Victoria”.

Mark summed up by saying, “With each station being involved and asking listeners to fundraise at work, school, community or at sport we will be raising money for a great cause and giving our listeners some involving and interactive radio that they can take throughout the day.
